We are looking for an adaptable and highly organized Junior SEO Specialist to support the SEO team in defining and implementing SEO strategies for a set of clients and assist with client communication on monthly reporting calls.

  • This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave, under a replacement contract with possibilities to join the team permanently.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate needs to be able to work effectively as part of a team, with the ability to execute individual tasks as needed.
  • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data and results.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics.
  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies.
  • Conduct keyword research.
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes.
  • Optimize website content and manage CMS updates, including content uploads to websites.
  • Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).
  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects.
  • Research and analyze competitors.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
  • Develop and implement a link-building strategy.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Managing client communication, providing personalized assistance, resolving inquiries, and reporting.

Minimum requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Contentful, Adobe AEM, Typo3, Webflow…) for uploading and managing content on websites.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with SEO reporting using Looker Studio.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and software (Google Analytics, Google Search console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of organization.
  • Analytical mindset with a numerical aptitude.
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Fluent proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Strong desire to learn.
  • Team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
